I cant get my final video posted on to my blog which is annoying!!! will keep trying!

FINISHED!!!

I have now fully completed my movie and it has been burned on to a dvd. I have added credits on to the end and there is a menu at the start before the movie begins. I used an image of the cruise ship as the background for this.

It took me quit a while to find a track to go with my video. I spent hours trawling through the music on imovie and garage band, but found that I would have to loop the music too much and it just sounded naff! So I decided to use 'Rebblion (Lies)' by Arcade Fire and luckily it fits very well!! I will post my video when I have finished editing.....

I have now finished making my video!!!!!! I have made my pages more interesting by making the photos move on the page, drawing footprints and making different modes of transport move. Overall I'm really pleased with it :)

i hate flash

busy busy busy!

I have bee very busy over the last 2 weeks as have had so much work to do! I have progressed with creating my scrap book - halfway there! I am now struggling with how to make it interactive.......

Just had a tutorial on adobe flash player - I dont cooperate with it very well! Too many codes and buttons etc.....

Success! Photos are done, £15 for 52 prints. Now I need to start my journal, I have also decided that I will take more photos at the beach to keep in with the holiday style. A job for the weekend, hope the weather is nice!

Ideas

I have spent the weekend thinking of what I could do for my project, and I have come up with the idea to make a travel journal from when I went on a cruise around the Caribbean in 2008. I have around 200 photos and a few videos that I can use. I will make a journal with all the photos and scan them in so I can make a timeline/journey in adobe flash. I hope it works.....?!

Rich Media project - week 1

This is the first week of working on a new project - Rich Media, we have had a few group discussions to explore the subject and were shown examples of existing rich media. This included watching koyaanisqatsi (I have posted the film trailer below) which is a 3 hour film made up of several short films that have been cleverly put together with music. We also watched videos by Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry and Jonathan Glazer.

We all had a bit of fun with tape and toilet roll hehe :)
